South Valley's Associated Student Body represents all South Valley students while enriching the school day. With over 25 students meeting on a weekly basis, we provide the students with countless activities to participate in.
School Dances: This year ASB will be hosting four dances The price of a ticket is $3 if purchased ahead of time during the school day, and $5 if purchased at the door of the dance. When attending school dances, students must bring their ticket, a signed parent permission slip, and a current school ID card. The school dress code is in effect at all dances, and students who arrive wearing clothing that breaks that dress code will be sent home. Parents MUST pick up students from dances promptly at 5:00 pm, or students will not be allowed to attend future dances.
Spirit Days: Held throughout the year, students have the opportunity to show their South Valley spirit by participating in a theme day. Spirit Days range from the easy (Sunglasses Day) to the more challenging (Imitate a Teacher Day). Every student who participates will earn spirit points for their grade level. At the end of the school year, a grand prize will be awarded to the class that has earned the most spirit points.
Spirit Weeks: During the week leading up to one of the school dances ASB will host Spirit Days and Lunch Time Activities every day.
Movie Night: ASB will host a movie night on campus one time during the year.
